SWON Libraries

CLEAR receives books and provides written book reviews for publishers of children's literature. CLEAR meets every other month. The format of the meeting is that each reviewer shares their reviews with the group. At the end of the meeting the books that have come are divided up among attendees. Between meetings, each reviewer inputs their reviews into the SWON CLEAR Reviews database which automatically forwards the reviews to the publishers.
There is an annual fee for joining CLEAR. For Contributing Member Libraries the fee is $40.00 and for Basic Member Libraries the fee is $80.00 per year. If you would like to join CLEAR, please contact one of the conveners or the SWON Libraries staff, 751-4422.
