[Moving Mountains] Bins with bale arms

The bins look like these http://tinyurl.com/yf6gxhz but instead of just
nesting, there are two very heavy duty metal strap like pieces attached
about 3 -4" in from the edges on two sides. The metal swivels over the
narrow ends and snaps into place to form a platform on which you can set
another bin. The metal strap is round and is the diameter of a pen. It
leaves the top of the bin open, but creates a stable platform for stacking.
When empty the metal swings back over the end to allow easy stacking.
Buckhorn has sold them over the years as a baled nesting bin. Our drivers
love them because there are no lids to get in the way. Our libraries love
them because the bale prevents overloading and protects the materials in the
bin when stacked.

What do you mean by "bales?"

Hi Everyone,

We need to buy more bins but our regular supplier, Buckhorn, can not supply
our regular choice. The replacement suggested by Buckhorn is the same bin
but without the bales.

&partClassID=2279&PName=Detached%20Lid%20Containers Our drivers really
prefer the baled bins.

If any of you are using similar bins and are happy with the performance,
please send me the contact information for your supplier.

Thanks so much! Also, many thanks to those you who have shared their ALA
Midwinter notes on the MovingMountains blog.
