The Mini Conference is designed for you! This one-day event is a great way to get a "taste" of the conference experience right here in Cincinnati without travel cost and major registration fees. The Mini Conference is designed to resemble the highlights of any conference - two keynote speakers, plenty of sessions to choose from, ample networking opportunities, and of course, FOOD!

You may register for either half of the day, or the full day of activities.

A Taste of the Mini Conference

9:00 a.m.: Keynote Session - Jump Start Your Brain!
- This session is a dynamic, mind-bending lecture that will challenge what you think to be true about innovation, marketing, and personal leadership!

10:15 a.m.: ALA Panel Discussion and If You Had EDI, You'd Have Your Electronic Invoice Before Your Library Materials

11:15 a.m.: MLA Panel Discussion and Programs @ Your Library: Another Form of Outreach!

12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.: Lunch

1:00 p.m.: Keynote Session - The Economic Impact of Libraries: Southwestern Ohio's Return from Investment in Public Libraries Nearly 4 to 1
- This session will address a study completed in 2006 that found the combined economic impact of nine library systems in Southwest Ohio was nearly four times that of their operating costs!

2:15 p.m.: AALL Panel Discussion and Your Virtual Branch: Best Practices for Today's Library Websites

3:15 p.m.: SLA Panel Discussion and Breakthrough! Understand, Improve, and Streamline Your Processes @ the Library
