2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
SWON Libraries Office
Today's discussion will center around "Helping Activity Directors with Their Programming Needs." We will discuss what activity directors want from the library and how we can help them achieve their goals. This meeting topic is inspired by an OLC meeting held last summer in Columbus!
The group will discuss how each library focuses on helping activity directors do their own programming by providing them with the tools they need, including bi-folkal kits, games, trivia books, etc. Library staff who are doing actual programming in senior residences will find these materials useful as well. Please bring your own favorite samples you would like to share, either items you have purchased or created yourself.
Finally, we will share promotional and informational literature that libraries use with activity directors to promote library services to them and their residents.
We will also discuss meeting priorities for the rest of the year.
