At this annual event, co-sponsored by the Mentoring Committee of the Cincinnati Chapter of the Special Libraries Association, you can learn about the library community in the southern Ohio and northern Kentucky area. There is an entire alphabet of library groups: SLA, SWON, OHIONET, OLC, AALL, PLANK, SAALCK, SOASIST, CAHSLA, LMNOP, WXYZ. Where do you start? Who should you join? Let SWON Libraries and SLA help you find the way.
This social event will include a brief program on the structure of the library community. Veteran librarians will be on hand to answer questions. The event is designed for any librarian or library staff member who is new to the area in the last 12 months as well as for library school students and library employees who want to know more about the local library job market.
